ELECTRIC HYBRID CHARGING TIMES

Our figures for rapid DC charging points – typically found at motorway service stations and main roads – are quoted up to 80 percent. This is because the charging speed slows down significantly above 80 percent to protect the battery and optimise its life.

DOMESTIC SOCKET CHARGING

For daily charging, we recommend a dedicated home charger, professionally fitted to deliver up to 7 kW of power, significantly faster than the standard 2.3 kW available from a domestic plug socket. A standard domestic plug socket will also charge your vehicle but it is much slower than using a home charger and is for occasional use, such as when staying away from home.

An optional JLR Mode 2 cable is available to purchase separately for charging with a domestic socket4.
