Introduced as standard on Range Rover SV Ultra, and available as an option on all Range Rover SV models, this technology is a dynamic shift in how sound is produced.*
Traditional speakers that use cones and coils to pulse and push the air to generate sound can introduce distortion and lag. Electrostatic technology uses a 1mm thin, flat membrane suspended between electrically charged plates, moving with speed and precision.
The result is a level of clarity that reveals the smallest details. The breath between notes. The texture of a voice. Everything arrives exactly as it should.
THE SWEET SPOT
Innately immersive. Electrostatic speakers are incredibly light and thin by their nature. Woven into the design of the entire cabin – headrests, seatbacks, roof headlining, doors – they envelop each occupant in a balanced, natural soundscape.
And while they disappear seamlessly into the interior, their presence also signals a quieter kind of progress. Made without rare earth materials, and using 90 per cent less energy than traditional speakers, they create a lighter footprint to a more elevated listening experience.
